I love this app and use it four or five times a week. Because the exercises are randomly generated, you don’t know what is coming up next, which is far more motivating than apps that churn out repetitive sessions.

Sarah’s coaching is outstanding, precise and full of advice and information on the benefits of the exercises. The posture reminder timings pop up almost as if Sarah is watching you. And all done in a very calm and British manner.

I have been waiting for an app like this for a long time! I was so happy to see it.

Pilates On Tap is really easy to work. It tailors your ability and what areas you want to work on- eg strength and flexibility. Sarah goes through each exercise perfectly. Demonstrations are simple and explanations easy to understand. When I found some exercises a little too hard for me there were variations to make them easier or to progress.

There is also research and advice on the app – helping me learn so much! l am a physiotherapist and the exercises I do with my clients are based on pilates.

My Story

Hello! I’m Sarah Manners, the creator of Pilates On Tap.

As a TV actress, I was always conscious of my slouched posture on screen, but was never able to correct it. Then when I appeared on Strictly Come Dancing I discovered that I also had balance issues. I was suffering from constant back, shoulder, neck, and hip pain. After investigating the cause, I was diagnosed with a leg length discrepancy, thoracic scoliosis, and a twisted pelvis. That was when I discovered Pilates, an exercise practice that changed my life for the better. Through Pilates, I have been able to take control of my body, improve my posture and alleviate muscular tension and pain. And at 48 years old, I’m stronger, and have a more balanced body than ever before!

The impact Pilates has had on my wellbeing has made me passionate about sharing it with you. This is the inspiration behind my app, and why I’ve designed it to be as inclusive of as many needs as possible.
