I have been waiting for an app like this for a long time! I was so happy to see it.
I really love the concept of this app because I haven’t found a good Pilates studio since I moved across the country 11 years ago! I have really missed it. I tried YouTube, but it takes a long time to find a good class and

Pilates On Tap is really easy to work. It tailors your ability and what areas you want to work on- eg strength and flexibility. Sarah goes through each exercise perfectly. Demonstrations are simple and explanations easy to understand. When I found some exercises a little too hard for me there were variations to make them easier or to progress.
There is also research and advice on the app – helping me learn so much! l am a physiotherapist and the exercises I do with my clients are based on pilates.

Hello! I’m Sarah Manners, the creator of Pilates On Tap.
As a TV actress, I was always conscious of my slouched posture on screen, but was never able to correct it. Then when I appeared on Strictly Come Dancing I discovered that I also had balance issues. I was suffering from constant back, shoulder, neck, and hip pain. After investigating the cause, I was diagnosed with a leg length discrepancy, thoracic scoliosis, and a twisted pelvis. That was when I discovered Pilates, an exercise practice that changed my life for the better. Through Pilates, I have been able to take control of my body, improve my posture and alleviate muscular tension and pain. And at 48 years old, I’m stronger, and have a more balanced body than ever before!
The impact Pilates has had on my wellbeing has made me passionate about sharing it with you. This is the inspiration behind my app, and why I’ve designed it to be as inclusive of as many needs as possible.
Progress in difficulty
We won’t let you get stuck in a fitness rut. The algorithm will progress you on a sliding scale of difficulty. Or take things down a notch if you say a class was too much. And you can track your improvement on your progress chart too.
Precision is key to maximising the benefits of Pilates, so each exercise is accompanied by detailed tuition, but if you’ve heard enough and want some peace and quiet, then choose to turn the tuition off. Now that’s not something you can do in a live class!
